Hey

So ive been trying all summer to try and install a Aux cable into my car I have Blue & Me installed I think but I can seem to understand any threads or anything I have an MT11 plate if that helps please can someone help me .
Oh and I have got the radio out :D and went to Halfords but they didn't know what to do :/

Thanks

You need to buy an AUX cable, cut the wire and snip them into the blue and me cables.

The just turn the car on but not the ignition and press Media and play your music, aux will appear.

However

When you come to start the ignition the only way to get this to work is to press media so that it plays the media player.

But you need a usb stick plugged in with a blank mp3 on it.

This way the car thinks it's playing the blank track through the media player over and over however you will be able to listen to
Your aux device whilst on the radio it displays "blank-mp3 name"

I got it to work but it wasn't worth the hassle, easier to make CDs!

But I hope this helps

If you don't want to chop straight into the wires just push the aux cable wires into grey connector block as show in the picture above and you can test it out before you snip into any wires.

So how do I create the blank mp3
and the wire are
Black to Black
Red to Grey
White to Green

That's correct for the wires,
As for the blank mp3

You could use audacity, a free music editing software and you simply just press record for 10 seconds and it will record... So sit quiet and it will record a blank track and save it as a mp3
