Re: Hard to say good bye

I can appreciate the 'Styling' of the car is good, but I still can't believe that people can buy a car on that alone. I mean it's not like it's a desirable badge on the front of the car. I brought mine because of a number of factors.

An MG3 is a stylish looking car - and arguably better than the Punto in a number of areas. You could buy one of those.!

The mg3 looks like it should be a proton, lol!!

I didn't buy my Grande purely because of its fantastic looks, I wanted 1 because they're good on fuel, they're safe, and mine was a low mileage, with lots of kit.

Re: Hard to say good bye

I have driven over the last 15 years I would guess over 50 different models of cars ranging from the most basic to high spec cars.

The Punto at the time of its launch was competitive. I personally think it was better than the Clio or 207 of its time. However the standard has moved on from what the Punto offers.

A recent test of the Fiesta, New Mini Cooper, Audi A1 and Alfa Mito actually saw the Fiesta 1.0 Eco boost Titanium win. The Alfa fared badly - which I can understand as we used to own one.
