Technical Replacement dipped beam bulbs

My near side dipped beam has gone so a new bulb is in order. I'm thinking about replacing both sides whilst I'm at it. Any recommendations on bulbs that are better than the stock fiat ones?

Because the two are not compatible.

I know its a different bulb, but I had Philips xtreme power in my mk2 punto and then fitted to them to my astra (which is now driven by the other half) and still working, must be about 4 years since buying them and must say they've been pretty good.

Thanks guys. I'm not fussed too much about lifespan as I expect I'll only have it for around another year. I drive a lot at night and any improvement even a small one would be good.

Phillips cool blue are good as ive heard, i have Nightbreakers plus which are also bright white and very crisp.

Osram Nightbreakers. I stand by them. Maybe a set every 12-18months.
