I had a set 195x55x16 GT tyres fitted to my car 10k ago . Looking at the tread i will probably get another 2-3k out of the front ones and the rear are like new.

I do a 70 mile daily commute with 55 of them on the motorway. I like these tyres a lot i had them on my Alfa 159 previously and are excellent in the wet and are very quiet.
My challenge is do i fit the same again or buy a Pirelli/Michellin premium brand. Would i get the extra mileage for the increase in price. I paid £60 incl each for my GT's

Good year effectigrip proformamce 195 55 r16 the drive is great cling to the road like no other and wear well plus good for fuel economy

Aboit 90 per tyre just had all 4 done for 350

Goodyears were the originals on the car but were pretty shot when i had them on.
What mileage to do you expect out of the fronts

I am om 39k and this is my second set on front and first chnage on the back I got roighley 19k out the last set.

When I had my sporting I had Bridgestone Potenza's fitted and replaced them at 13K with Vredestien Ultra Centos, however, I don't know if they make them for 16"

Can't mourn about my 12k on my GT's then
