Hi all,

Read some good threads on here about the Mtec DRL bulbs but noticed there weren't many pics!
Decided to take a few during and after installation.
Quite surprised at how Yellow the originals were!

Last pic shows the original bulb on the left and Mtec on the right.

As mentioned before they are the Mtec T20 7440

Are you getting any errors on dash? Are these LED's or just normal white ones?.

these plus some headlights

Although can't remember if H7 or H4.

Then some sidelights

End up with nice bright headlights white sidelights and DRL.
No error codes.

Yeh i thought they may have been led's...

It was my first impression too :)

Suzukikid1984, thanks for picture, looks really nice !

The only drawback I see is bulb life. In fact, to obtain whitest bulbs, the filament temperature is raised a bit and this dramatically reduce bulb life.
They get help with blue coating too, to filter the yellowish spectrum.

I change mine between 12-15 months

Thanks for information, seems a bit lower as standard but quite reasonable (but it depend on car usage)

I have my sidelights and DRL on always. I've always agreed with having lights on all times of day, just not blindingly. Personally, the price of these bulbs, i'm quite happy to change them once a year.
