Hello everyone

I appreciate there are a lot of spare wheel threads but I can't find one that matches my wheels.

I have a 60 plate Punto Evo with 195/55/r16 87h (4 studs) wheels. Can anyone tell me which full wheel or space saver wheel would fit OK on the car. I am hoping to buy a second hand one with a jack on eBay so any links would be really appreciated.

I can see stuff for 15 inch wheels but not 16s.

All help greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

look on tyre sites to compare rolling figures.., as it's the circumference that matters while on the vehicle - could throw ABS errors otherwise,

195 is the width and the 55 is a percentage of that,
so 195 divided by 55 = @ 105 that is the actual height of the sidewall of the tyre,

as an aside the GP's , evo and 2012 punto are all on Vauxhall bolt pattern, ( 100mm pcd)
so a 16" er from Vauxhall may be cheaper..,

I have been looking on eBay and I keep finding things like "Genuine Fiat Punto 1999-2010 Spare Wheel Space Saver 135 80 R14" - which is the correct year for me but with a 14" wheel - would that work correctly given that the tyre is a 135/80?

Thanks.

Hi Again,
I read that twice,

a 1999 to 2005 Punto is a FIAT and has a 98mm PCD

a 2006 to 2013 punto / Grande Punto is a GM ( Vauxhall) product with a 100mm PCD

so essentially the 4 wheel bolts are at different spacings and it will not fit BOTH vehicles !!

a ( grande)punto from 2006 on will fit perfectly as a wheel rim, you'll just need a tyre then to try and get the rolling diameter correct,
so what tyre you put on your 16" rim is down to you,
personally I would buy a "part-worn" tyre.. @ £15...the size will depend on the rim diameter,
buy that 1st , 15" or 16" = I think you'll struggle to get a cheap tyre with a 14" that will be the correct circumference??

as I said before there are some good comparison charts out there ( usually to aid in speedo accuracy..!!) that's what you need for ABS ..!!,
