Styling HID 8000k

Hello people!

I've been driving to and from work everyday and happen to notice cars with HID's in them, projecting a very aqua blue light to them. I've read several posts all over google claiming it's the 8000k HID's causing it. However, I've had HID's installed to mine and no matter what kelvin rating; from 6000k to 15000k, they all project a very similar colour of crystal white. I don't know the cause of this at all but just can't seem to get the aqua blue/white I want.

Any idea of why it's always projecting white?

HID converstion is a bad thing, headlights are so differents from halogen to arc discharge.

Lens of HID headlight are often the source of blue aura (see mk2a punto for exemple). 8000k is far to high °k, big loss of efficiency and never mounted on OEM.

This forum is not the right place for HID conversion, buy good bulbs and stop these dangerous conversions :
