Performance engine chips EVO 135

Hi fiat forum,

Charlie here, I'm another besotted owner of the Punto Evo, and new to the forum.

I have a 2011 multiair 135 sporting (16 on the clock). As a first car I think I might be a little over my head, but can anybody blame for choosing one of these!!

The big question I wanted to bring is; Has anybody explored fitting engine chips to them? Or even better, does anyone have a chip fitted, and how does it run?

Thanks

Charlie

You seem to know a lot about chips. If what you say is true about small penis' bro. You must have a lot of 'space under your bonnet'.

Wow mate, calm down.

Have a look at TMC Tuning boxes or a custom remap? Probably best to get a custom remap!

That guy seems to troll everybody on here. 'Sissy girl' is his preferred comment.

I'll look into it thanks. What are the main benefits to remapping over chip installations?

Chip installtions aren't generally tailored to the car and just up boost and fuel.
With a custom remap they can take into account any mods you have. Its also safer as the map is mostly done to within the parametres of the engine.
For the price of a TMC box you can get remaps.

Have a look on eBay the one from a abarth 500 fits as well I got mine for £120 add a BMC panel filter and should see 165bhp. It will still struggle against the new breed of cars now but should be more then enough for day to day driving. The next step would be getting turbo from a abarth evo. You would need a remap and a brake upgrade.
