Hi, I have a a problem with my evo.

After washing my car the boot catch decided to stay open and won't lock. I can hear the mechanism working internally when I press the button on my keys and the logo on the back but the boot just bonuses back open when I try to close it. I guess something's either got wet or it stuck open. A replacement latch mechanism looks quite cheap. Has anyone ever had this problem and replaces the latch?

My screen wash motor also seems to have died on me, I can head the relay switch ticking in the glove box and the wipers work fine. Again the pups seems quite cheap. Has anyone had this Ana replaced the parts?

Thanks
David.

Hi,
worth checking to see if the can open close the actual latch part on the bottom of the hatch,

look in the 500 section -as the catch failing is a common'ish occurrence - somebody may have done a GUIDE,

with your pump - does the rear screen still WASH + WIPE..?,

Have you got the boot open badge button or not?

Does the wiper motor not work at all either front or rear screen?

pull it off and clean it up see if its full of sludge
