It says that my Punto EVO Natural Power has Anti-Whiplash seats.
But I'm not sure.

How can I see that it is Anti-Whiplash seats?
Are they marked somewhere?

Best regards,
/Sören

They'll be standard hit I assume, its not like they're an option so you might have been landed with none anti-whiplash seats.

All a fass anyway, whiplash can still occur, just not to the same severity all being well.

The headrests are what stops the whiplash. Make sure they are adjusted corretly and you are sitting correctly in the seat (i.e. don't lean forward, dont slump in the seat etc).

They're head restraints, and it isn't only them which prevent or lessen whiplash, although what you say about it all being correctly setup and sat properly is 100% correct.

They are an option on the 2012+ models, unsure about previos EVO models. Looks like they move forward in a crash, so that your head doesn't snap back as far, thus preventing (well, maybe) whiplash. Assume they only move when the seatbelt pretensioners fire, but who knows ?

Mine supposedly has them, but I only know that because it says it on the cars spec list/sheet I got from the dealer. Think it's standard kit with the leather seats / electronic lumbar support. Could be bull**8t though, I don't really have any way of knowing for sure if it's actually there... guess I'll find out if i drive my car into a wall

"anti-whiplash
When it comes to safety, we've thought of everything. On the Pop, Easy, GBT and Sporting you can even choose head restraints in the Punto that are designed to help minimise whiplash."

Haha, on the latest brocure it's opton 42F, and only available in conjunction with the side airbags option. This used to be only available with the Lounge Spec leather seats, but looks like it's been expanded to the rest of the range (except Pop), as has the option for the leathers !

I suspect the Evo is the same as 2012 for spec/options, so the OP probably only has them if they have the leather interior as that comes with side airbags, lumbar support, etc as standard. But, who knows !
