Last night some muppet ploughed into the car parked behind mine, gave mine a few scrapes and disintegrated the drivers side wing mirror.

The scrapes I am hoping to T-cut out but my skills do not go as far as reassembling a 1000+ piece mirror. (It ended up on a car down the road, with glass going for a good 50+ feet).

Does anyone know where I can get an electric/heated drivers side wing mirror in underground gray (metallic) for a lot less than the dealers want?


I am sure that I made a post to this effect last night but cannot find it.

Is that going top be exactly the same as the one that was there?

The dealers are quoting me 159 for the mirror and 32 for the cover + VAT eeek.

Getting the cover sprayed would become the next problem - will the one from the dealer fit these though?
I have no idea where I can get it sprayed.

An alternative suggested by the local bobby is http://www.wingmirrorman.co.uk/Wing-Mirrors/Fiat/Fiat-Punto-Evo and they will spray it for an extra 25.
Just rang WMM and they don't have one in stock. :(

I got another from the windmirrorman that wokrs OK.

Although looking at them, the left one is at a greater angle than the right ?
I measured them and the left is inclined in towards the window by 5 degrees less than the driver side.

They look odd when looking from front or behind, is this normal?
I have seen it on other cars.
