I am looking to buy a new exhaust for my punto evo to get some noise out the back and was wondering if anyone could tell me "What its like dealing with Novitec... I've heard a lot of bad reports about Gazzella and therefore do not want to risk it.

But not so much about Novitec they seem pretty trust worthy but would like to hear it from a few other people as well...

If anyone knows any other places apart from Gazzella they please let me know.

Thanks.

I've dealt with gazzella and honestly can't complain with them. Otherwise, why not get an exhaust custom built? Sometimes works out cheaper. My system was £400 for a 2.25" flexiback system.

Gazella seem to have long lead times because they order from manufacturers who are only interested in doing runs of a certain size -- as you'd expect when a part isn't exactly in huge demand. Add to that Italian holidays.............

Novitec are German -- the only bad I've heard is from people gripeing that they've discontinued stuff for 15 year old cars!

Be very, very careful about who you get to do you a custom exhaust. There are plenty of clowns out there who can barely MIG in a straight line and use mild steel wire on stainless exhausts.

Luckily mine was stainless MIG wire. Although I'm thinking of going a little bigger... 3 inch with mandrel bends this time rather than pressure bends (look them up and see the difference).
