General Standard aircon unit to digital one.

Currently my car has the standard dashboad heater and air-con control unit fitted, does anyone know if I were to upgrade it to the digital switch unit, would fully work as a direct replacement or is there additional parts that are required or if the wiring is different? Also is there somewhere where I could buy the digital air control unit? Thank you

really think it would be more hassle than its worth... at very least you would probably need

new facia with switches (obviously)

behind dash Wiring loom,

Solar sensor,

compatible body computer (iirc)
