(G) 2012 Punto Evo - heater control lights?

Hi all

Just picked up my 2012 punto evo today, having great fun with it, except driving at night I noticed that the heater control panel was not lit up, made it very hard to see the controls. Is this just a massive over sight by fiat or does the bulb need replacing?

I'm going back to the dealer tomorrow for something else, maybe I should point it out to them, but I dont want to feel like an idiot if it's standard.

Should be backlit. If it's not (and you definately had your lights on) - get it done under warranty.

Hi, I have the same problem so could you please tell me what was the problem - blown bulbs or anything else?

my guess would be blown bulbs,.....

easiest way is radio out metal radio cage out

hand down the back feel for bulb holders there are 2 of them replace bulbs

type 286 12v 1.2w


reassemble then find first aid kit and patch up bloody hands from all the stupidly sharp bits behind the dash.....

You can actually reach the left hand bulb by lying on your back in the passenger footwell and using a pair of long nose pliers wiggle the holder out.

Luckily the right one hasn't blown yet!
