Hello,

I have just had my 3rd service done and the garage found the drive shaft seals leaking on both sides! Price to replace both seals inc VAT and Labour is... £180!
I have asked my dealer if this is covered by the 3 year dealer warranty which they are checking and I have booked it in for next week, but I wanted to know if anyone else has had this happen and if it was covered by the warranty for them?
I wouldn't expect seals to be braking at 2.5 years old and 17k miles.

Thanks,
Jack

Hi there jack , sounds very unusual for both of the seals to leak so early . Double check the gear selector oil seal as this is a common leak and could be all you need ...... It's a small round seal located at the back of your gearbox (y)

Hi, thanks I will get that checked, I had it serviced by a good garage so I am hoping they would know but ill check anyway.
