Since middle of December (When temps dropped to like -2º), I've had an amber warning light and my engine warning light RANDOMLY show on my dash.

I've had the lights come on during start up or after 15 mins of driving. Sometimes the lights wont show up during a trip at all.

The only thing that happens is my Start + Stop is deactivated and I get a message saying 'check engine'

Is there anything I can do about it?

I've had the Punto Evo GP 1.4 since Sept 2011.

This has happened to me afew times and then went away. I've not seen my dashboard flicker for a while now.

Theres no problem, just think of it as the dashboard telling you its bl**dy cold

Without some form of fault codes, we can only clutch at straws

But i think JPritchard's description is quite fitting

I had this same thing with mine and I found out I was a pip that went to my dpf I changed it and it was all fine again hope this helps
