Right, have finally found a set of headlights for the evo that has a projector lens (Eventually) but the price is the killer, the site below sells it for €389 + delivery Can get it slightly cheaper elsewhere (Below £270 delivered) but still expensive.

Yea, would have to enquire about that, unless its like my DEPO lights on my astra where its interchangeable.

I'd save your money. They may look a bit different to stock but don't expect them to be better. They looked good on my last car (a Nissan 200SX) but were absolutely useless, the Evo is a lighthouse in comparison. I ended up fitting HID's which improved things slightly. My company vehicle also has them and they are useless there too!

Projectors mean that I can fit 55w HID ballasts without having a problem though

I have the same opinion as Marcos999.

The front of headlamp look great, but the rear look cheap, especially sealing and electrical wiring...

The punto Evo / 2012 light good, mainly compared to my previous car (Fiesta ST). The better car I had was the Punto Mk2a, but it has two H7 bulb, the Punto evo only has an H4.

Installing HID in a headlamp that is not designed for generally result in a bad lighting shape, an out of law situation and it is potentially dangerous for other road users. Especially with high power HID kit (normal power is 35W HID, output in lumens is allready the double of halogen !)

I've ordered some osram night breaker plus bulbs for mine since i had a main beam out the other day should be here soon postal service dependent! (I've stuffed a spare bulb in for now till they arrive )

Will do i put some cheaper lidl (e) marked "Blue" bulbs in my last gp but they burnt the reflector hope the osram ones are better in terms of quality and lower heat build up.... the OEM bulb i took out are Osram.....

the blue ones..... banged a pair of +50's in for now and they do give a better light out
