This worked for me. I had the same problem with my Punto Evo Dynamic 2010 1.4. I tried the key thing and the lights were gone.
 
I brought an 10plate evo 9months back, and i had this same issue the car had warranty but as we all know warranty covers NOTHING! So the garage kept mugginf me off in lamemans terms and i finally got a tuning garage to look and it was, the break senser something to do with the padal pressure

I have just changed gear selector and linkage on my Mrs evo its now throw up error code

how do I recalibrate the neutral switch?? is it via software?

Hi did you manage to get this sorted, I have the same code and it's driving me insane.
