Hi guys! My headlights won't switch off does anyone have any ideas?? I've disconnected the battery and reconnected incase it was a software thing but no joy. Any help would be appreciated.

headlights or day time running lamps? Is the green lights on dash warning light on? Tail lamps? Do they go off with the ignition? do you have front fog lamps?

Know you said headlights but just wanting to clarify so you get the right advice :)

Hi, it's the headlights - the tail lights are one too aswel as the green one on the dash. The switch on the stalk does nothing but They do go off with the ignition
I do have front fog lights

Sounds very much like the switch in the indicator stalk has died.....

Is the car under warranty still? its a steering wheel off job as its all one unit

similar to this but i think the evo unit is different due to the overtaking indicator function

simple check would be to find and unplug the lead to the indicator unit and see if the lights go out

Think its a 2 stage switch as if you flick it you get the 3-5 flashes but latch it and it will only give one even if you cancel it immediately

Interesting, on Bravo if you latch and release instantly you still get lane changer kick in. Although they're same stalks as Stilo I believe so probably not been modified as no reason to.

I think im wrong it must be computer control based having just had a more in depth fiddle and play with it ;)

Yeah, its still under warranty. Its just a pain taking it in - was hoping for a quick fix! Cheers for the info!!
