Hi, has anyone got any docs on what the dealers will do on an 18k service to a evo 1.4 dynamic ?

I want to shop around but need to be sure I am getting the same stuff done.

The service book lists lots of "checks" which are visual and take very little time IMO so I want to ensure there is nothing else not mentioned.

I also don't want to take it to the Blackburn dealer where it usually went so also can anyone reccomend a good service centre in Lancashire.

Just had mine done. On the invoice it has-

Carried out service to manufacturers spec.
Checked tyre depths
Visual health check
Checked for product enhancements (any recalls)
Charged for-

Washer liquid
Selenia K Pure Energy
Spark plugs
Pollen filter
Oil filter
Enviromental charge

Watch them for the washer fluid trick i went a shade less than mental when they charged me for it (i had filled it up the night before) they had fully drained it mine was halfords lime green stuff and they had refilled it with blue god knows why........

(oh yes they knocked it off the bill and the extra 2 litres of oil they tried billing me for) check your hand book for capacity's ;)

Arnold Clark wanted £270+ from me for a lot of purely visual checks, a local garage only wants £120+ vat for a service where they will also touch the car not just look at it.

Now I need to figure out what oil, filters and plugs it needs so I can be sure they are the right ones fitted.

OMG! I have just seen the prices of the oil they recommend.

Book says it should be a ACEA C3 oil, is Mobile 1 new life the same?
It's ACEA A3/B3/B4

Although I'd look elsewhere than Halfrauds. :)

Anyone know what the oil and pollen filter codes should be?
