Hello all me again.

Evo is playing up again. Since it went into the shop the second time to have the same repairs done when the breaks were jamming on, I've been hearing a strange noise when going to slowly in second gear.
This problem has now developed into the car stuttering in firs gear like I'm not giving in enough revs.
Also to this when traveling and accelerating to change gear the revs will suddenly jump up. The highest increase I have noticed was when it jumped from 2500 to 3500. It then seems to sort it's self out and returns to the correct rpm but does it when you next change up.

Kinda feels like something may be slipping as yesterday I had to stop as I couldn't even get the car to go into gear, felt like the clutch cable had snapped.

Anyone got any ideas cause this car is really starting to get on my nerves.

Cheers
Paddy

It does run a cable actually.

Took it down to the dealership this morning and checked in in. Awaiting a phone call from them with the diagnosis. Given me a fiat 500 for the time being. Horrible for me being 6'2" :(

Trying to work out the costs to them at the moment.
Anyone know what a master cilinder and servo would run? With labour?

who told you that?

the Left hand drive fiats are often cable the RHD ones use hydraulics due to the cable run........

My last gp:

My evo is the same ;)

Look just above the earth cable i have highlighted you can see the bleed nipple fiat have used hydraulic clutches for a good few years

Im more than happy to be shown that im wrong but i dont think i am ;)

No I was wrong :p

The list of work

Servo + master cilinder
Servo + master cilinder (2nd time)
Clutch + fly wheel

Any idea on what it would cost for parts + labour from a fiat dealership?
