I have a 2010 Punto Evo 1.4 Petrol (Dynamic with Blue&Me, start/stop etc) and the two front speakers appear to have blown.

It's the larger speakers in the lower part of the two front doors not the tweeters in the door handles. They are vibrating with any bass rather than delivering clean bass. I've tried altering the audio levels and it's the same whatever I do.

What size speakers are these and is there a sensible upgrade for them? Also, can I get them installed anywhere rather than at a fiat dealer?

Any info would be very much appreciated.

anyhow they are 6 1/2" in diameter


i fitted these

FLI Underground FU6 - 6.5" 150W car speakers: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

they are a fraction too small (mounting diameter) but i made them fit :devil:


only fiat in their infinite wisdom can manage to mix up the striped cable on one side the stripe is live and on the other its ground :bang: ( i popped the head unit out to check with the wiring guide)
