As long as it doesn't read "8v" you will be fine. The 8v I used to have felt seriously underpowered. In fact, my 1.1 panda active eco feels quicker on it's feet. That's why I sold the punto to my old man :D

Make sure you don't just rely on the seller. It got it from the fiat dealership local to me, on asking which 1.4 it was the reply I got was:
"*shrug* I d'no, 's a onefour innit?"
I've had the chance to drive a friends 105 multiair and another friends 135 MA turbo. Now those feel much more suited to the car!

thanks im not too bothered about how quick it is just would like to know which one im getting also if its and 8v ill try an get some money off from the stealership :)

The 8v was underpowered to the point where you had to work it to the max to get anywhere which will mean the car gulps down the fuel. 35mpg anyone?

If you can get it, get the 105. Seemed a nice happy medium in my book.

depends how you drive it on my regular 9 mile C road dash to work it hovers round 40mpg and on a decent run mix of motorway/A -B roads and a few Yorkshire dales passes thrown in on about 250 miles i got 44.9mpg...

just realised as been working late all week that theres no service book or spare key got owner handbook, sound system and two blue&me books one in german theres also a note in the owners book saying check engine light and stop&go not working dated april 2011 its working now anyway, i have a problem with lacquer flaking on the front bumper just below the headlamps will i have a problem with no service book its on 25k and 10 plate

went back to the garage its from a ford dealers they found the service book but theres only the pre-delivery check in there the ford garage have serviced it at 25k air/oil filters and two new tyres, they said they will try and find out if theres anymore history on monday for me then ill just have to take it to fiat and see what they say although lacquer wouldnt flake from not being serviced so i hope its pretty straight forward

and no dumb key i can live with that so long as i dont loose the remote one!
