Hi all!

New to the site. Have been enjoying my new 1.4 Dynamic for a couple of weeks now and am looking to play around with it already.

I'm looking at induction kits and possibly an ECU re-map first, then when/if I have the money; some alloys.

If anyone out there has done this/thinking of doing it and wants to share some hints/tips/general wisdoms with me it would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

First things first, Is it the 1.4 starjet or the 1.4 multiair (With the dynamic I'm going to presume a multiair)

Induction kit isn't going to give you much, I'd rather do the exhaust system first, getting it custom made can save you a little money as its fitted when you buy it :) Then you can decat or sports cat it when you have the money (TMC sell the bits if its the MA). Exhaust will depend on where you buy it but it will be around 340-450 or thats what I can get them made for dependant on pipe sizing.

Since I don't know whether its the starjet or MA, An induction kit might give you a total of 1bhp. Not sure on pricing as never bought one.

Since the car is a NA (naturally aspirated, not normally aspirated) a remap isn't going to give you much but drivability will be improved. Maybe 5bhp? Around £300

If you do everything thats listed above, you might end up with around 15-25bhp increase but for that increase it will be 750-900.

Thanks Scoop.
Pretty sure it's a Multiair.
Thanks for the heads up on those, I'll have a look around for other options :)
