My moto goes like this:

If you want it to fit, you will make it fit.

As for the induction kit, if you are willing to loose a couple of BHP (circa 69bhp to 66bhp), then go ahead and fit it. But for me, save your money and just buy a faster car :)

You won’t probably see much power but you can at the very least expect asharp throttle response, if you really want to see something out of it get somepiping work done and put the filter as far away from the engine (heat) aspossible, a heat shield and some cold air feeds and you might see 3-5 BHP.

The other side of the coin... if you go for a cone filter (the ones that govroom vroom) you won’t see much difference on performance but I can personallyguarantee that your fuel consumption will drop dramatically, nothing to do withthe kit but I personally found difficult for at least a month or so tostop myself from taking off because of the nice noise that it produces.

At last... if you go for a 57i you could argue that its a one off purchase and you'll save some money as you wont need to keep buying air filters (make sure you clean it with the proper stuff though!)
