Hi all!

I have a Punto Evo MyLife and was wanting to fit ambient lights in the doors, I noticed the holes are there but covered.

Does anyone know if all the wiring is there and it just needs a bulb in?

Also, how would I go about the dash light, can it be done?

Thanks for your replies! (y)

No those are puddle lights

Been trying to find some pictures of the evo at night but cant find any

Its subtle background lighting round the door handles and the cabin area

Yeah that :D

I dunno if fitting the light on the dash will be possible, don't really want to start taking it all off where the airbag is! :(

No luck (n)

Took the door panel off and there's nothing where the wiring for the light should be is just empty.

May be possible to take a feed off the light in the window switch but couldn't figure it out.

So for now it looks as if its a no (n)

The door handle lights come on with the ignition, the ambient (dash) light comes on when you switch lights on.

Hi, can you share how you managed to take the front door panel off?

I tried removing mine by undoing the 2 screws by the side, the one at the door handle, and another one up there next to the tweeter, and then remove the window switches. After that, pop in a screwdriver at the bottom corner and tried to pull the panel out by hand.

However, something at middle or the top of the panel where the weather strip is seemed to be stucked, and I couldn't get the entire panel off.

Are there any more screws / clips I need to undo?

Appreciate if you can advise. I need to remove the panel and refit it as something inside the door panel is causing some noise when travelling over bumpy roads.

Thank you.
