When you use the electric window on the drivers side a little push will make it go down all the way, a little pull makes it come all the way up.

Should the passenger side act the same way?

from the drivers side I can push once and the passenger window goes down all the way but a single pull only brings the window up for as long as you pull the switch.

Could there be a problem with the mechanism on the passenger side?

I expect this is covered under warranty so want to get it in soonest before it runs out.

No its normal to stop you decapitating a passenger... or a child in the front passenger seat cutting their own head off...

dont think fiats do have this...

As far as I know, the bravo has it, or atleast the manual says it does.

As for the punto, Why not try find a mechanism for a LH drive and fit? Can't see it not working

If its not broken then I wont mess with it, I just wanted to check if it was broken so I can get it fixed under the warranty.
