Hi all - does anyone know where I can get a spare wheel for a Punto Evo
in Lancashire?

175/65/r15 84t rated tyre
and a 15" ET43 4x100mm PCD 56.6mm centre bore

I am a bit concerned about going long distances until I get one, last thing I need is a blowout or puncture because of some debris and not being able to get off the motorway.

Try eBay - there's a breaker in Oldham listing a 56 GP 1.2

I found 2 when searching for a spare but they are pricey - shop 4parts.co.uk £84.70 delivered and SGPetch.co.uk £90.73 delivered.

Cheers but could not find that item number, is it still going?
Any chance of a direct link?

Thank you.

Will a Volvo S40 spare fit?

eBay: 270979989467

... alternatively I believe Corsa-Delta wheels are common with the GP.

Any:
Vauxhall:
Astra-H 4 stud, Combo-B 4 stud, Corsa-D 4 stud, Mervia-A
Chevy:
Kalos, lanos and spark

And if you REALLY wanted to:
Lotus
Elise S2, but offset is totally way out. Front is 32 (IIRC) and rear is 18 (Punto Evo is 43)

offset is the distance from the imaginary center line through the wheel when looked at from the side (Where you would normally see the tread of the tyre) to the hub mounting face of the wheel.

To measure it, you will need to know the backspace and then you can calculate the offset from there.

I am swapping my 2009 active for a new 1.4 GBT tomorrow, and have a brand new spare in the boot with tyre, i would have traded you mine but do not have the time to do that now. i am thinking of just sending my old car back in without the spare now and keeping it for the GBT.

will this be ok??? or will the dealership be chasing me for it when they relise the spare is not there?

Will this fit?
GRande Punto wheel

I have been doing the rounds of the breakers near me, no luck.
SO many of them say - yes we got lots come and choose one - when you get there - all 14" etc. :(

Also what sort of options do I have for other wheel types?

If I go for alloys do they have to be 15" ?

Can I fit 185/195 sized wheel/tyre?
(I now all 4 should be the same).

(getting desperate now lol)

And what size would the tyre on a spacesaver be?

Will 125/80/r15 95m be OK? a Wheel from a Marea?

For minimum layout (& peace-of-mind) then just go for a spare.

e.g. eBay 221049835266 – (Skelmersdale) … I wouldn’t fret over the size variation, when limited to a get-you-home spare.

Personally I’ve run a GP 1.2/8v on 175/65R15 & 185/65R15 - & a 175/65 front & 185/65 rear combination, for a few months until on all 185/65. (Both sizes are `within spec’).

Outside of the GP type design the general FIAT issue wheels aren’t the same - as the landing gear assemblies are an Opel(?) design dating back to the GP-CorsaD joint enterprise with Opel/GM that was argued to significantly reduce the cost of each model.

Cheers, I am assuming the 185 is the width, then if that fits it opens a lot more avenues.

Most of the ebay auctions 221049835266included are collect only and many miles from me.

Ideally I'd like a spacesaver so I can fit tools etc in boot.
