Hi,
ive been searching around but i couldnt find a definate answer regarding my issue. i have a Punto Evo, 2011. i dont have blue&me installed at all, even when i click the "Media" button on the headunit itself i dont have "Aux" mode displayed.

now.. ive read about some people that were able to connect aux anyway, so i went over to ebay, bought the removal pins + aux cable.
i took out the headunit, connected the aux to the right spot, so far, so good.

now... i still can't see AUX option on the headunit, i understand its disabled, does anyone know how to enable it?
and if thats not possible.. any other way to use the aux option there?
thanks in advance!

Matan.

i have similar to this one.

add http:// at first, for some reason i cant post URLs yet.

I have that radio too, how come you do not have B&M ?
I think the CD button is the "Media" one.

Can B&M be installed? (or is that a nightmare waiting to happen lol)

Do you have voice control of the phone? steering wheel controls?

Out of curiosity - was it hard to push the radio back? I found the cables stiff and unyielding. Took several goes.

hi,
i dont have B&M, and i dont have voice control of the phone. i do have steering wheel controls.

yes its a bit hard to push it back in.

Can you install it?
Have you asked a dealer if it will install?

Have you got a USB port?

Dunno if you ever got this sorted but there is a cable that will add and activate AUX on these Delphi F199 radios - a guy on eBay sells them:

eBay item number 221124161095

I've tried it on a Punto Evo 2011 and my new Punto 2012, both without Blue&Me, (same radio, different software versions) and it works perfect.

:)

You just saved my day, been looking for a way to get aux in my punto pop 2012 for ages, Thanks! :)

But do you get the radio switch to AUX?

Can you remember what cables were already in the plug when you connected it up?

Do you have a USB input?
I notice that the aux terminals have the USB input cables on them, the other end of the connector (where the blue bit is) there are some AF terminals.

I'm looking at a cable on Amazon thats under £7 for this.

Hi, I have similar issue so I'm jumping on this discussion.
I own a 2011 Punto Evo (without blue&me) and I'm trying to get aux using this method.
So I've purchased the appropriate cable and plugged in into the aux input behind the head unit but when I tap "Media" twice, with no cd in the drive, I get "No source available" on screen :(
What am I doing wrong?
I have the Delphi head unit, F199, and I think I've done everything just as described above so I can't find the reason that it's not working.
Took some photos in the process so I hope some other member might spot the error: hxxp://db.tt/2Vd2qqsM (can't post links yet since I'm new. Replace hxxp with http).
