Tuning Fiat Punto Evo 2011, Aux?

Also read this forum it has everything u need to get this working I helped another with this.

Hey frost, could you please check what's the HW and SW versions on your head unit? Maybe that's the reason that my head unit can't use the aux in cable.
My HW version is: 28302823 and SW version: 18.

Thanks in advance!

But that ones about £12 more than the amazon one.

Did you get the amazon one and did it fit in the hole?

Thats all I need as I can then rewire it.

I'm not too keen getting something else from Italy :)

Dear Friends,
I am new to this Fiatforum i am from India, i own a Fiat Punto 2012 Dynamic which has no BnM and no aux and usb, can u also help me in providing details for aux connection, my car is with Delphi F199 music player.

Regards
Atul

Frost is the cable you used connecting into the aux inputs or the other end?

I already have a cable that connects into those pins - I wonder if its from the blue & me unit?
Thats on the Yellow connector - the Blue one is at the other end.

It has to be the blue one from eBay. It's coming from Italy and it 100% works.

So it's not going into the aux input then as that is the Yellow one.

The blue connector is for the CD changer at the outside edge of the radio.

Frost, when you want to use the cable what button do you press and how many times?

The media button push till it comes up AUX or on certain models u push cd and some other models SRC (source) button

Cheers, my aux input is definitely used by the B&M, all that is left is the CD changer input.

I'm thinking I might want an aux input more than the B&M as I'd like to improve the audio from my Nexu 7 when using it as sat nav.

Hey guys, I've jus bought a 60 plate evo, came with the dreaded blue and me built in, I want to get the aux lead, can anyone point me in the right direction? And how hard are they to install I'm guessing remove stereo plug it in and go...my stereo is the stock one

Grettings from Brazil!

Today I decided to check the antenna conection on my Fiat Punto Evo 2013. The connection was a bit loose, but now everything is ok. I also looked for the AUX input connections, but the blue connection is already in use (I don't have B&M and when I press media the AUX input shows up). There is a pinout sticker wich says that the AUX input is on the bottom of the yellow and green connectors (and also says that the USB data +, -, V +, V- are the top connections of the yellow connector).

Do your radios have the same sticker on the top? I checked the glovebox and all the places an AUX in would be, but I could not find. The manual does not mention anything about an AUX in.

Yes, my radio is a Delphi one.

Hello and welcome :)

Please post a pic of your sticker.

I have not a pic of my unit, but found this on the web :

No USB input there. Do you have a different version ?

First, thanks! Apparently this model is different from the photo you posted (visually, the only difference is the color of the display, here they are white/blue). Searching I found that there are two different models in Brazil: one is for B&M cars and the other is for cars that do not come with the feature - the last one has the ability to read thumb drives and iPods built in.

I will try to connect cables following the sticker to see (or to hear? Haha) what happens (I just need mental and physical preparation because is really hard to push the radio back).

May I post the results here or create a new topic since the radio is different (probably is the same for all LA)?

Ha yes different connections here :)

It should work if you connect USB to selected pins. But effectively you have the yellow cable already connected... do you know where it goes ?

Do you know where the usb and aux socket should be in and equiped car ? Perhaps all is wired, you have just to buy the socket ?

I do have USB and I use it with my iPhone and with a USB drive (it's a bit problematic: first, the radio used to jump musics of the drive, I fixed, but now every time I turn on the car it goes to the first folder/track). I wanted the AUX to connect another telephones and use GPS apps (on iPhone all the audio goes trough the USB), I also plan to build a car pc. The port is inside the glovebox (like B&Me cars). There is a strange black wire on a connector which is supposed to be the aux in (probably is this cable that makes the radio "see" the aux input and that's why it shows up on the display).

I've been searching on a lot of fiat forums of LA, but nobody knows (there are a lot of posts about it on Punto Clube Brasil). The dealer does not know also (but dealers are equal all over the world, so...). The radio manual does not mention the aux.

I will try to connect a cable on the green connector to see what happens. I just need time.

I've been reading some posts from here and I can't believe you also have the rear light condensation!

I'm really enjoying this forum!

Ha ok, this time it is ok, you have USB but no AUX.

Yeah it is strange you have the black AUX Ground cable, and no AUX L and AUX R signal cables.
I don't understand how radio unit can see the black cable, only one wire...

First thing you need to connect another cable to R or L and put sound between it and ground to see if input is working.

Yes, mist in rear light clusters, I will go to my dealer. If you have the problem, too, post in topic ;)

On european Punto EVO and 2012+, USB and AUX port are now in front of gear knob :
