As title says, any advice? Is dealer offered stuff worthwhile? Supaguard.... etc?

no you be better off with an anti static detail spray, like FinishKare #425 or Finish Kare Anti Static Poly Wipe

Thanks, just come across Blackfire Wet diamond for a wet look finish, and this I'm guessing would then add the extra protection.

A good quality polish helps a lot, I used to use autoglym on my black Saab I'm sure others could recommend a few other good ones.

Try to avoid anything with silicone in as it's sticky to small particles.

Autoglym HD wax?

What i would do is...

wash

fallout remover

Clay

Polish with Autoglym super resin polish

then treat with autoglym extra gloss protection......

or skip the polish and EGP

and use Bilt Hamber Autobalm (added bonus with this as it doesn't mark black textured trim

none of that will stop it attracting dust straight after, i thought that was the original question

True, but also curious about getting a good finish.

Plus you have already answered the dust question. Off to buy some anti static spray over the weekend.

Pretty much the same although I'm a fan of Poorboys and Dodo Juice at the moment. Poorboys QD+ is awesome for a quick touch up.

A well polished car won't pick up dust like others

However in order to stop a car picking up dust you need to remove the static that builds up in the body, for which the only real way to do it is to permantly earth the metal body some how,

If its well polished and does get covered in dust you can give it a once over with some cold water to take the dust away and then shamy it dry in under half an hour

Wash car – when dry wipe with ‘Meguiar’s 34 Final Inspection’ then add ‘Car-Lack 68’ wipe off with the Meg 34 Final Inspection’.

If you want a deeper glossy look add a layer of carnauba wax something like Collinite 845 Insulator Wax. Probably the best and longest lasting protection for any car.
