Hi all, I have just bought a bargain Punto Evo Sporting and will pick up next week after it has a few scratches fixed.

Just thought that I would introduce myself.

Will add pictures once I collect it.

Well I picked up my Sporting yesterday in crossover Black, and it's a great car. Only thing is coming from a white car with black accents, this car seems a little boring in appearance. 'Well why did you buy the car in black'? It was £1400 cheaper than the next cheapest Sporting which was in white and had 6-8k miles more on the clock, so got black. I am now thinking to just add something to it maybe matt black wrap it, or white?!

OR

To be unique an Evo Sporting with this idea.

Its actually an Abarth 500C ;)
It is indeed. Saw one in the showroom, looked good.

I hate to be the nit picker but is it just me or is that a 500? :)
It is, I meant the paint job.

What about adding some red wing mirror caps? The black grande puntos with them look cracking.(y)
That is one of my first ideas, as has red calipers so be hints of red. Had considered red side stripes but I'm new to modding.

Thoughts please....

Nice, that Abarth Evo looks like its made of rubber, very cool. But I can't help but ask mate, to get a car wrapped is usually the steep side of £1000, around £1200 to get it with the door shuts done too. Why didn't you just buy a white one

It was a bargain, and have saved basically £2k off the equivilant white one, plus been playing around with some 3M no bubble car vinyl on a friends roof, and I am sure that if I take my time I could wrap my own car, with the Premium 3M vinyl, and would be around £300 in materials, then sort out exhaust and I am still over £1k better off.

Not so good at photoshop huh? Lemme get myself a copy to see what I can do with the pics :)

 I used to be, but wasn't trying my hardest, although think the matt black pics aren't too bad?!

Better than the other ones. But I will throw up pics of the car when I finally get Photoshop CS6 beta downloaded :( 1 Hour to go...

I wasn't greatly impressed with the ones I did with my car, but been such a long day I let them go.

So what do you think to me wrapping my own car? To me it's not rocket science and have done a little bit as mentioned.
