Re: Suspension Help???

dont understand how the bad quaility paint is down to me? my car is washed and waxed onece a week!!! weird how my previous car (silver blue black) all get driven in the same area etc and not a problem...

my car is parked in carpark where there is no trees or even grass..

and at home its either on my drive or in my garage... cant understand how anything can contaminate my paintwork

theyve been told that ill drop the car off at 8;30 am wednesday and i expect it to be ready for me to pick up at 5:00m giving them a total of 8 hours to spend on my car ive been assured by the sales manager he'll be
sorting this he also said this is appalling for a brand new car and shouldnt be happening.... he also asked if ive ever taken it back to which my reply was yes over 3 times now....

i work about 10 miles away from where i live no pulic transport on that route so i have no choice but to have the day off however if they'd just give me a car id be able to go about my business

told them im totally disheartened by the car and that im appalled by the dealership¬

Re: Suspension Help???

Yer best to get something from them!

I needed a car as I work in the middle of the countryside and it is just a block of offices. From the dealers it is about 20 miles so I would not be able to get to work and I have only been there 6 weeks. I will have to say to Fiat on Fri that I need to get on the road as early as poss and I satrt work at 8.30 and I can only collect the car at 8!

Going to be a quick drive to work!

apparently the iron fall out is caused by the wax the dealers put on the car.... so therefor theyre at fault... dont know how theyre going to fix the engine starting problems because it only happens every now and again

your gonna be in a rush arent you mate? lol better put your foot down (where speed limit permits)

just dunno what to do ive sort of lost all love for the car now

The problem with the courtesy car is that, they can't cover you insurance-wise until you're 25, and you're cover will say the same, so you won't be insured. It would have been cheaper for them to buy a days cover for you though.

Re: Suspension Help???

At least they got you a car then. Took mine in today and got a call back 8 and a half hours later saying everything is fixed. When I got to the dealers tonigt just before it shut she told me that there was nothing wrong with the starting or the gearbox! I knew that they were lying when I got in the car as the mileage hadn't changed! I put the radio on and thought the radio sounded different and all they did to stop the rattering speakers was turn the bass right down and the treble up! Once I changed it back it is still ratterling! They resealed the rear lights and when I got home I noticed there is sealent on the bodywork.... but they did fix the compartment near the drivers door!

Will be giving them a call next week!

Re: Suspension Help???

Well I've got my car back tonight.... They've apparently had every wheel off and can't find any reason for the vibration/squeal.... And they've done thorough checks and can't find anything wrong to prevent it from starting...

Apparently my paint work was also sorted I get home and rinse the car off to find that it's still got the pigments on the paint!!! So it's going back in on Monday to finally get addressed this is after the branch manager assures me
It was perfect!!!

Re: Suspension Help???

Did you find out Exactly what they had done to your car re the paintwork?

Did they just polish the car by any chance?

You will never totally eliminate it as with things like tar splatter but a good wax or sealant will stop most from getting into the paint along with regular washing

Shame your not local i could have given you some fall out remover to try

(my sisters car was also covered in it)
