(and yes i put some more air in them when i had finished) 2.5bar front and 2.2 bar rear from the manufacturers website let them down to about 1.5 bar when i put them in storage)

Bring on the snow my Grande punto was almost unstoppable in the snow with these on the past 2 years

Good job!(y)
I made the switch to my winter alloys a couple of days ago now, the Evo was outstanding in the extreme snow and ice up here last year :D… biggest bummer is having to pay an extra hundred pound a year on insurance simply for switching alloy wheel sets.

Why are they not Original Fiat wheels?

Told my insurance co when i took out my policy what i was fitting and mentioned the little cravat the ABI came out with last winter.....

If they are none standard alloys that might be the reason... I went for OEM steel rims and there was no issue (y)

i thought i put that post in one of the other winter tyre threads

i went to look at a vectra today to see what size steels it had, but they was sold before i got there. i wouldnt normally bother but i need some new tyres any way. i thought id found some good part worns that was just a bit wider than the tyres on my alloys but then found out the tyres i have are already bigger than book so the ones i found probably wont fit. most vaxhalls seem to have 16s and i aint sure if they will fit over my brakes so need to find some local to see if they fit, then find winter tyres for them, can afford a new set of winters to fit my alloys they are nearly a grand for a decent brand

Yeah I have to pay the premium cos I rotate between my original Fiat alloys and a set of Team Dynamics, summer tyres on one and winters on the other (y). Got the Team Dynamics at a bargain price so couldn’t justify spending £800 for genuine Fiat ones and steelies were like hens teeth at the time.

Dave as a budget winter tyre I can highly recommend Marangoni Meteo HP… very underrated!.. well worth a look (y)
