*new* Punto Evo offer

"FIAT has a pair of new offers for drivers who crave factory fresh cars but have little cash for a deposit.

The best is on the Punto Evo 1.2 Active, which has had its 10,400 list price cut to 9,400. Customers pay only 499 in advance, then borrow the 8,901 balance at a not unreasonable rate of 3.3 per cent APR. The total over the four-year loan period is 10,193. Not bad.

The other offer is for the Panda 1.2 Active, which has a new official price of 6,645. A much larger deposit of 1,179 is required, which leaves a balance of 5,466 to be financed over the same 48-month period. However, an interest rate of 10.2 per cent APR is slapped on the Panda, meaning a total cost of 8,209."
