Ive decided to start on a boot build for my Evo, I havent got any subs, amps or speakers yet just started on the build, ive got my mdf cut to size of boot and now just planning on the position of the subs & amp. Ive drawn up my idea so far, what subs & amp would you recommend getting on the cheapish side, not too expensive.

Is that going to be a box in the boot? I wouldn't bother mounting 6x9's inside the boot and in the same box as the subs. Higher frequencies are a lot more directional and won't work well inside the boot, some tweeters mounted around ear height (usually on the pillars) will sound a lot clearer and more defined.

yes the plan was to build 2 separate boxes under each sub so the 6x9s wasnt in the box, i thought about adding the 6x9s cause i didnt just want 2 subs and leave a space at the bottom, still thinking about it and trying to get few ideas before i decide and the buy subs & amp.

Here is the progress i have made since last week....

Also got myself 2 x Sony Xplod subs 2 x 13cm Pioneer & 2 x 10cm Pioneer. I have the subs enclosed in seperate boxes and the Pioneer sets under them, now just need to buy my self an amp and then all ready to wire it all up.

Awesome! Really like it, could you post a video of them in action? and if you dont mind me asking... how much did this all cost you?

So many people said no room for shopping haha :), yer ill get a video uploaded for ya. And as for price it cost me £115 for materials paints ect, and for the subs/speakers/amps/wiring kit it was another £240
