Hi, bit of an odd one this but wonder if anyone has any thoughts.

When cleaning my Evo the other day, I was scrubbing the roof and part of it just 'caved in' and now it looks like there is a dent on the roof! Pretty sure I wasn't using too much force.... the roof just seems really weak.

It's not huge and probably not noticeable to anyone else but me, but it's still annoying knowing it's there. Is there any way of 'pulling it out again' so it's not caved in?!

The same happpened on my bonnet the other week, and I want to repair that as well! Is the bodywork on the Evo just really weak?

Thanks.

Modern car panels these days are weak, made of thin metal for cost & weight saving. Usually, like the wings or doors, there are swages sculpted in to provide some resistence to forces such as you seem to have applied to the roof, try pushing the dent out with equal force from inside the car, it should recover its shape provided the metal has not stretched.

id probably go to the dealer and say how it happened.

they'll probably repair it or pooint you in the direction of a dent puller.
