Anyone had the pleasure of paying lately? just wondering what the going rate is in your area,

Got the supplying dealer chasing me (not due till the 28th of September) Cars only done 2100miles due to been pre registered so its age rather than mileage to keep the infamous warranty valid .

Just managed to get one quote from one local dealer for a low mileage which is just the oil and filter which stands at £120 which i dont think is too bad although i know its cheaper to diy

(got 3 or 4 to ring round but they don't seem to want to answer the phone on a Saturday morning :bang:)

I got a coupon from fiat (to celebrate my car's 1st birthday) that gives you a free 1st service (apart from parts and materials like oil filter and oil) so that brought my bill down to a little less than 40 pounds converted (a little less than 50 euro).

Another tip is to fill up your windscreen wiperfluid up yourself, you'll be off a lot cheaper because they usually ask quite a bit for that. Ever car accessoiry store sells this (sometimes you need to mix it with water to make it less concentrated.

Grts

Been a Yorkshire man ( A region of the UK where men are known for been overly careful with our money ;) ) i discussed this very loudly with the service manager and won
