Is it right that my car struggles to start up? It doesnt do it everytime but most and its not always when its been left for a while. It like sounds like s old car and struggles for a bit then starts up. ast night it struggled for about 15/20 seconds. Is this ok?

Had the same problem and took it to Fiat and they basically said to me there is no problem and they said when they started the car it was fine and basically said stop wasting their time. I agree mine does it every now and then and it sometimes takes a couple of goes to start but i will just live with it until something goes wrong then it will be there problem

If you have a starting problem, try and identify what the circumstances are, eg it's very cold outside and it's the first start of the day, or you've just done a 200mile journey and wouldn't start after a quick coffee stop.

If you just say it's not starting then the dealership will run a basic diagnostic and find nothing wrong, because the circumstances are different.

Let them keep the car, and try to replicate what happened.

I don't have any trouble getting it started however when its cold for the first few hundred yards it can sometimes stutter and jerk a bit with very poor acceleration. I took it in and they said there was nothing wrong with it (seems to be a common reply when you have a problem with Fiat cars). Its due for its first service next month so will say to them again about it.

Mine is the same and Fiats reply to me was the same.
