It's a difficult one I know but if you had space for just two additional gauges which two would you go for?

I was thinking that a Turbo gauge and Oil Pressure gauge would be good.

Ammeter for sure, low current from a battery causes all sorts of alarms to be thrown up including the dreaded Power steering one!

Probably Oil temperature too... definite turbo saver if the lube system has problems!

Looks like we might need three then after all.

Where would you mount them? Either side of the dash behind the steering wheel or on the centre console above the stereo?

Trouble with the right pillar is the curtain airbags. Would be harsh to have a set of gauges wrapled around your head instead of a soft fluffy pillow!

Shame it doesn't have an additional dial like the Abarth 500

This is what disapointted me.

Do the sporting have the digital turbo gauge??

Im thinking of finding a crashed A500 and getting boost gauge out of that or just the holder and fitting a oil temp gauge then fitting boost gauge (that shows bar) somewere else

There are more diffrences then just the ecu.

Also without a reflash no it will not work as ecu talks to all other control units which are all individually coded to the car so you would need every computer and locks/ keys

The instrument cluster has no bearing on the keycode/immobiliser system.

All the Abarth cluster should need is Proxi alignment. The Engine ECU data (eg, boost) should be present on CAN.
