actually i am considering to buy an evo in egypt but the only engine available here is the 1.4 engine with 77 only bhp
what are the drawbacks of this car?
i heard some problems in the easytronic in the traffic jam
1.4 will be weak as automatic ?
please help me to decide

i used to drive bmw 318i model 2000 and i am afraid to feel that its weak

I have had my Punto Evo 1.4 auto for just over a month now and not really impressed to be honest. It does have good power for the little engine but mine is very lumpy, does not always start, the blue and me cuts out and the rear lights steam up! Apart from that its all good.

I think it is up to you if you feel the car is right for you?

Not sure why it does not always start. Every time it starts though it sounds rather bad for being 5 weeks old! I have it booked in the garage on the 25th March so will have to wait and see what they say

are there problems with the transmission in traffic jams?

I wouldn't say there are problems but sometimes its is a bit jerky when pullig away from being stuck in traffic. Hopefully it should come back today from the garage being a bit better than it was

and ya i know about it being jerky. my friend has a bravo tjet dualogic and it tends to get jerky too. but he tells me it fades away after a while when u get used to how to drive it

Well not to sure on how the car is as it was supposed to be delivered back yesterday but got a phone call to say they needed to order some new parts for the car and the car needs to be kept with them until Mon/ Tues but they didnt say what was wrong with it! Now got one of their car's on the drive which i dont have the keys to and I need to get in the garage to be able to use our other car!
