i like my evo but i am having so many problems with it it has been back to fiat at least 10 times in the 6 months i have owned it, i am now considering walking into my dealership and handing the keys over and tell them to give me what i paid for it back as the car is appaling, i just want a fully working car even the service team have had enough with the car they said they will get me my own space as my car spends so long with them:bang::bang::bang::bang::bang:

I know this feeling very well!! And even still now am having problems still as they ruined my seat and take 3 months at a time to do things!!

well give us a clue.............whats wrong with it:confused:

well it all started after delivery, the car had broken interior panels, then the recalls, engine problems, that couldnt be located, rear washer pipe broke car took 3 days to be repaired, now blue and me broken whole unit needs replacing, the abs kicks in under normal breaking they think it may need new hub assembly and all this and i havent had the car 6 months

Interior panels broken certainly wouldn't be forgiveable. - That should of been fixed asafp.

the ABS sounds like a strange problem too, that should be sorted asap.

Rear washer pipe is a new & strange one

Blue&Me Control unit is a quick & easy job, I had two of them.

Recalls are part of every cars life span, my niece just had one for her vectra, So it's not surprise a new car with a new engine to have a couple.

as for the engine problems, is this just the engine management light came on once & hasn't since or something else?
I've had the engine management light once, and dealership saw no reason for it. Personally I think its a teething fault & part of a bigger problem with the Multiair engine & I think they'll do a bigger recall in the future over it.

Nothing sounds too out of the ordinary though, just need the dealership to get the job done properly & stop wasting time!

well they have had the car a week now and only just ordered a new blue and me unit to replace current one, had to borrow my mothers Qubo as the dealer couldnt lend me a car for a long period of time and the distance i need to travel car is in ipswich im in birmingham, need to move to local dealer but as i was in ipswich and the car broke it went into the original dealer for repair

that takes the ****, my cars been in alot but only once has it stayed overnight & that was because of a paint defect and the paint company they used was slacking.

Normally i've taken my car in at 10-11am, pick it up about 4pm, it's either fixed or they've ordered a part & will give me a call in in the next week or two when the part arrives.

I'd certainly suggest using a different dealership, that one sounds pretty crap >.<
