should be collecting my New Punto Evo within the next 2 weeks and have read that some things dont work like little compartments. Just wondered what to check when I collect the car to make sure all these little things all work!

I think the only major fault is the cubby hole by the drivers knee, doesn't shut properly and feels very weak..... Almost everyone has had this problem. (Unless they've fixed it on "new" evos recently)

There's been a hand full of paint defects aswell i.e blemishes on doors etc so worth eagle-eyeing the paintwork if your collecting in daylight.

Checking all your buttons/controls are installed as ordered, some have the fog lights but the button to turn them on isn't there for example.

There was actually a thread on this alittle while ago, couldn't of gone far.. ill try digging it up :)

Found it...

Quite a few responses there if you want a really detailed checklist!

Pity that checklist thread couldn't be made a sticky.

I see it was requested at the time & would help prevent duplicate posts as the number of potential Evo owners build up.

Just got a phonecall to say i should have it by monday fingers crossed! does anyone what the stud patteren is ... think it is 4 x 100?
Wheel fitments are the same as the Grande Puntos:
4x100PCD
56.6mm Inner bore size
If your looking at after market alloys remember to get the correct offset as well, this will vary depending on the alloy width.

I’m no expert but I’d say you would struggle with them.

Firstly the tyres are 40 profiles rather than the standard 45 on 17’s for the Evo.
Secondly the rims are 7.5inch wide, I personally wouldn’t think they would fit as they are on the big size, the standard width for 17’s on the Evo is 6.5inch. I know a 7inch width can fit if you get the correct offset but I notice that those wheels don’t actually advertise the correct offset as an ET of 214 (as advertised in that listing) is defiantly not right.

I have attached a handy link that might help you: (y)

http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp

You could always try asking in the Grande section as there as plenty people who have changed the alloys on the Grandes so they will have a better idea of what will and wont fit as the Grande & the Evo fitments are the same.
