Hi guys,

Last week I fitted Mtec h4 and number plate bulbs and a couple days later my bulb warning light appeared on the dash for a few miles and then went off (not come on since).

Yesterday I was cleaning my car and listening to songs via my ipod connection inside the car, I turned the car off then back on and my ipod just wudnt connect to the car, also the Telephone and Windows buttons on the steering wheel do not work now.

Any ideas what's happened? Could it have anything to do with me changing the bulbs?

I'm always changing the bulbs around on my car and I never have any issues.

Maybe you got water somewhere it shouldn't and it's playing with the electrics
 
I didn't think changing bulbs would do anything but thats the only thing I've changed. Also, the mileage is at nearly 5k and its repeatedly flashing, I don't suppose u know why? And I've just disconnected the battery and hopefully its sorted. But Why would the buttons stop working anyway? Thanks again guys! :slayer:
 
It's worked, i disconected the battery and its all fine now! :D

Do you know why it stopped working and why the millage counter was falshing?

Thanks, but how do i update the blue and me software? and I thought the convergence unit only controlled the cd player, media player, radio and blue tooth? Should i get this looked at by fiat?
 
i had a problem with mine too, was something to do with the b+m module being **** and needed rebooting.

steering controls went off and now mp3 and few other bits.
 
Is it fixed now then? Or what did fiat have to do? As above ^^^ I just detached the battery and it was sorted.. just hope it doesn't keep on happening!

yeah fiat rebooted it for me, the dealer is opposite work so i just dump it there whilst in the office.
 
Mine had also that problem with the mileage flashing and many problems with blue and me.I updated the software and everything is ok.:)
