i am thinkin of buyin a punto evo but in a diesel and i don't no wot engine size they do!!

can anyone help me?

a 1.3 95bhp and a 1.3 85 bhp

have a look on the fiat website using the configerer

New, 1.3 or 1.6 16 valve I believe.
The old JTD derived 8 valve 1.9 MJet has been discontinued.

You only get the 1.6JTD version in the Sporting model though, you could always use the Fiat “Car Configurator” on their website to see the various engines and models.

The 1.3 95bhp diesel disappeared when Fiat dropped Eleganza trim.

The diesels now comprise of:

1.3 75bhp - Active, Dynamic & GP trims
1.3 85bhp - Dynamic trim (Eco model)
1.6 120bhp - Sporting trim

Not sure why Fiat decided to drop the 95bhp engine. The 75bhp engines are meant to be good, but i doubt theyre that quick when you think that even the 500 has the 95bhp engine. I'd probably go with the 85 or 120bhp one where possible, unless i want the cheapest possible diesel option.

As TJ says, try the configurator at fiat.co.uk - it's very easy to follow & is unusually upto date for the Punto Evo at present

Bear in mind that all diesels now have DPFs, so make sure, before you buy, that your driving pattern will suit.
