Took my car in last week for various repairs - mainly because of a leaking water bottle - I'd also noticed that the rubber strip air splitter thing that runs underneath the front bumber had a few rusty screws where it was fixed on - so I wanted that put right as well.

Anyway when I picked it up after a week they hadn't done either (still on order) although the paintwork defects on the wheel arches were fixed.

After further discussion the service manager still wasn't sure what I was referring to about the rusty screws. I pointed out the rubber spiltter on an evo on the showroom - and noticed theirs was fixed on with a load of crappy little staples !

Thing is I'd had the bumper replaced after hitting a fox. I'd assummed the rubber thing was a standard fiat part fixed according to fiats specification using their parts. And therefore covered by fiats warranty.

Can any of you guys take a look at yours - particularly if its a sporting - and let me know how its attached?! :)
