Checked out your pics and my first reaction was, god, you've still got snow there?

Anyway, back to the reason for checking out the pics! Very nice. After reading your signature I'm increasingly tempted to change the main beam bulbs etc when my Evo GP finally gets dragged out of the damned docks at Bristol where it's been sat since 11 December. My Eleganza was sat there for over 3 weeks back in May when that came through. :bang:

Avonmouth is a cow, every time i pass by & see thousands of cars just parked up :( so sad some times when you see the same car for weeks!

I want to look at those sidelights  wonder how they'd look on a black car ^^

that the ones?

Well, mine is (again) one of them. Not sure why it's so badly organised. My last Evo was stuck there forever, despite the dealer waiting on 6 or 7 vehicles from there that had all been delivered to the docks some time previously. It's crap.

I quite like those smoked repeaters, but like you, am not sure how they'd look on a black car. I'd be interested to see too.

Look for the one for the Grande Punto, it’s a perfect fit as the rear design of the centre console is the same in the Grande and Evo.(y)
Mine cost me £79 off eBay for the whole kit.

Doesn't the armrest block the access to the handbrake too much?

I suppose it does block the handbrake slightly, but all you need to do is push the armrest into the upright position when you need the handbrake to be easily accessible.
Same with any armrest really!

Not the same with any armrest. My punto EVO has one and it never gets in the way even when its lowered. My old vw bora had one too and I learnt to do it in that. Now it seems weird without the armrest there when I reach for the handbrake

Finally got my chrome handles today after having to wait over 3 weeks for them.
I had ordered the full 4 piece chrome handles although I ended up being sent the 2 piece ones by mistake (so I got a discount after complaining).
Still fairly happy though… I think they look good!

by four piece did you mean for a 4 door car?

Or the parts which fit around the top part of the handle like in the photo's on Fiat accessories?

Because personally I thin it looks lush like how you've got it just on the moving part and would look a bit naff if there was the chrome on the upper part of the handle if that makes sense?

I'm so getting this for mine!

Also, I think you should fit front mudflaps as the front ones are alot more important for protecting your car than the rear ones and do fit with side skirts fitted even though the website says they don't.

Yeah the “4 Piece” ones are the one that go around the top of the handle as well, but yeah I agree after fitting them I’m kind of glad the company sent the ones they did! :D

To be honest I really wanted the front mudflaps fitted cause the spray that comes up from the front wheels is hellish, so yeah I completely agree with you about that.
Only thing is I remember that in the Grande section ages ago there had been a great debate about whether or not front mudflaps would fit the Sporting models (due to the sideskirts). Some said yes some said no, might go ahead and get a pair to give it a try & see.

The reason I told you they do fit is because there is a grande sporting owner who's dealer actually fitted them for him with sideskirts and he has photos with them fitted (y)

I queried the front mudflaps thing with the dealer today while I was there and they said that although officially there aren't any for the Evo that has skirts they can fit Grande Punto units to the front wheel arches but they look stupid. The general consensus of everyone at the dealership was the same.

They mentioned a customer who was in a similar situation and I think the customer who had this particular Evo ended up asking for the front ones to be removed but kept the rear ones on.

I only had the rear ones fitted to help reduce spray onto the rear windscreen which they have done well.

The design of the evo's wheel arches and everything is exactly the same as the grande punto, they only designed front mudflaps for grande punto's without sideskirts. Only the rear ones have branding on them not the front ones, so they will fit the same on the EVO and Grande. They never made made mudflaps to fit a grande fitted with sideskirts. I guess you both have the old Punto logo's on your rear mudflaps you have fitted as they havent released new rear ones with the new logo for the Punto EVO.

But from the photo's I've seen of the Grande owner on here with front mudflaps fitted with sideskirts they looked excellent, he took closeups and there was no problem what so ever. This would also work on an EVO as the design is EXACTLY the same lol.

I beleive your dealer is talking absolute S H 1 T :p telling you that the grande ones wouldn't work with an EVO

If that was for my benefit, you might want to read my post again. I didn't say the Dealer told me that the Grande Punto mudflaps wouldn't fit, I said they would. I merely said they had informed me that no specific flaps had existed for the Evo if they had skirts as mine does. I've already had the Grande Punto units fitted to the rear arches and yes, they have the Grande Punto logo on them, but it's not exactly noticeable and most people aren't so sad they go round looking for things like that so I can certainly live with it.
