Just as I'm thinking everything is good with my car now I'm driving along yesterday and suddenly think where is my air conditioning I'm sure I had air conditioning...so I get home and check my order form and yes I have air conditioning I check the book and see that it is in fact standard on the GP!!! So here we go AGAIN my whole thing with fiat has started again!!! My dealer are waiting to here from fiat as to what is going to happen! This starts up a whole new load of questions has this got anything to do with how much I was messed around did they just shove the car together to make it look like the GP when actually it isn't!!!

Why would you look for the button when its winter??
100 percent I've even taken it to fiat there is no button there its just a black hard panel!!!

Erm, to stop the car misting up in winter
You should run aircon throughout the winter, else come the summer it won't work...
Hopefully they will sort this out - but doesn't look good for you

Some Evos that have foglights have the panel of switches from cars without foglights, so it could be that theyve just put the wrong switch panel above your heating controls & still fitted the rest of the air con system. The wiring & everything could already be there.
Might actually be easy to sort. Even so, if ever there was a case for Panda production not to go to Italy, surely the amount of misbuilt Evos is it.

Yeah Id reckon that it was the same mistake that was made with the fog light switches and its just that they have fitted a blank switch to the panel by mistake rather than the car not actually having air-con. After all the trouble you've been through! I can't believe how long it's dragged on for and it's still not right! I would be LIVID by now! Contact Watchdog.
Next time check it before you leave the dealer!!

The Dealer didn't fit the wrong plates to it at PDI, did they?
It happens- two identical looking cars + a sleepy Tech who doesn't check all the digits of the chassis number correspond to the jobcard = you driving someone elses' car.

The 500 was an epic fail between Fiat and the Sales Admin staff (and the original car being damaged in transit and a new build being sent). We only found out when I got the jobcard and Parts insisted the plates had already been issued hours before...
Don't all GP Spec Punto Evo's have air con as standard? If so, and the car Sian has can be identified as a GP spec (anthracite alloys with circles cut out, bright red and black stripe seats etc) then we'll know it's been mis-built.

im not confident that fiat taylor any car. im 100% sure mine was built in transit as it didnt have the extras i asked for. Fiat dealers are a joke
Its a little more subtle than that.
If a Fiat dealer has a unit that is due for payment, then guess which one is going to be sold first.

GP's do indeed come with air con as standard!
Its not a case of putting the wrong reg on the wrong car, no one has ordered one like mine from my dealer! its a bit different to others!
They have well and truly messed up!! im fuming with them not only have they done this my mini which i gave them 2 months ago has not been paid off! which means I have been paying for 2 cars! which they was ment to pay off the mini middle of october! Now i am outta pocket as i have paid out £644 on cars during november and december!! im still waiting for my next evo payment to come out! This is beyond a joke now!
I second that. They have to have some sort of legal obligation to pay off your Mini now that it's in their possesion. How come you didn't contact them as soon as the finance for the Mini got taken from your account?
