right anyone had after market tints on there evo if so where the glass on the rear quater cums to the end it has like little black pimples if you look you will see what i mean hard to explain its on all windos though except the front to. basically i had my windows done and the tints have not taken over these dots and looks sort of silver on the outer edge(not a good look) the tint company claims that it can not be sorted but i feel they may be lying anyone had tints and if so had this is or not??? thanks

You can sort it but only by replacing the tint and actually glueing it down over the 'dot matrix' as its called.Another way is to carefully trim to the edge then matt black paint over the dot matrix to cover them but failing that theirs nothing you can do really

I done mines myself but ended up getting a pro to tint rear screen as the film i bought just wouldnt heat shrink properly to the shape of the rear screen so ended up costing me £50 all in for doing rear quarter windows myself and pro for rear window

it needs pushing onto wear them dots are, mien were like that, i took it back 2days after the tints as it just needed pushing down, the window firm actually asked me to come see them in 2 days.

thanks people i went back to the tinting company and they claim its a known issue in the tinting trade yet i have spoken to sevral window tinting companys and got replys from yourselfs and it is possible to tint without that issue of it not taking on the window matrix. So pentagons are refunding me romoving the tints and i am off to get them done else were next week by a company recommended by a friend

i got my windows tinted a couple months ago and noticed the dots too but i dont mind that, what i had a problem with was the guy had scratched all the windows and couldnt make them look any better so i refuse to go back to see him,

i got mine done and their exactly the same, i dont mind it though cos u cant really see it unless ur close up. what bothers me is some of these dots look missing. the complany that done mine told me that this would happen

mine still look fine.

the tint isnt even dark, i just went back a week later after all the moisture had evaporated and they push the tint back onto it. been fine.
