I've Checked the Evo threads and could not find anyone talking about the problem i have..

well my punto evo makes a weired electrical noise when it changes gears in (AUTO mode) + or - change...

I dont know if thats normal or not... I only have the car for a week now.

also does anyone know if its better to use the eco mode... I mean better in terms of the motor health..

I could be wrong, but are Automatic fiats not robotised manuals? I would expect there to be some noise from the actuators doing the changes. maybe normal?

If you are worried, try another at the dealer and see if it makes the same noises.
